NORTH ENDOSCOPY:

Oakville North Endoscopy is a out-patient clinic founded to help relieve the extensive wait times faced by people in the Northern Oakville and Milton District  areas needing colon screening and endoscopic procedures.

Our mission is to provide state of the art, comprehensive, quality medical services in an efficient and caring environment to ensure the best for your health.

From the assistance you receive during your first phone call, to the attention you experience in the clinic and post procedural care, our staff focuses on addressing all your needs.  Oakville North Endoscopy is a publicly funded endoscopic clinic, which means there are no additional or upfront charges to you as long a you have a valid Ontario Health Card. 

Our facility is equipped to provide sedation for endoscopic procedures. Oakville North endoscopy adheres stringently to all of the outpatient facility guidelines as published by the College of physicians and surgeons of Ontario and And the Canadian Association for accreditation of ambulatory surgery facilities.  Your safety and comfort are assured.

Beyond the scopes and monitors, we have also designed and developed the very latest and dedicated sterilization room to ensure that we provide the safest environment possible.

TWO DEDICATED MODERN PROCEDURE

ROOMS WITHIN ONE

  • New state of the art equipment has been installed to ensure the very best in medical visualization

  • Comfortable procedure bed designed for endoscopy

  • Patient monitoring equipment including ECG, oxygen saturation, end-tidal CO2, and blood pressure are all new and checked daily.

  • All necessary equipment for emergency situations is immediately accessible

PATIENT RECOVERY OCCURS

IN PROCEDURE ROOM

  • We move to you instead of you moving through the clinic

  • We will ensure you are completely recovered before starting to make your way home

  • One on one nursing for every patient during sedation and during recovery


General building standards include an emergency power source available, which will provide adequate lighting, essential area lighting, and capacity to operate all essential equipment for a period to complete ongoing procedures and recover the patient. A two staged fire alarm is present and all hallways are constructed to accommodate easy passage of stretchers and wheelchairs.
